Welcome

As a private reptile collector I have set up this site to ‘showcase’ my reptiles and to share my collection with you. I specialise in Western Hognose Snakes, but also keep a selection of small Pythons, Colubrids and a couple of Geckos. I can honestly say I have a real passion for all reptiles. Please take time to look around my website and feel free to contact me. I hope you enjoy my website and visit again. I’ll be updating the site on a regular basis and will hopefully have lots of successes to share with you.

Breeding Projects and other news

This season I trialled a new method for breeding the Coastal Plains Milksnakes. I decided to put our Extreme Hypo and a Normal 100% het Hypo together during winter cooling months and they remained together when they were brought back out again. I did this to see if they would mate either during the colder months or straight away after returning from cooling. This seemed to do the trick, as I received 10 nice looking eggs on 04/04/2020. This is quite a big deal for me. I purchased the original adult pair (both were Normals 100% het Hypos) for this project at the end of 2016 and had been unsuccessful at getting fertile eggs. I then acquired a new male (Extreme Hypo) and sent my original male to a good friend in Canada. The Extreme Hypo hadn’t done the job up until now.
